(NBC News) As investigators continue to search for answers one week after a deadly shooting at the nation's largest Army post, President Obama will travel to central Texas today to be part of a memorial service at Fort Hood.
The president is expected to visit with families of the victims and to speak at the private memorial.
Three soldiers were lost and 18 injured when one of their own, 34-year-old Army Specialist Ivan Lopez, opened fire.
