UPDATE 2/24/14 -- The houses directly to the North and South sustained severe damage inside and out, but fire crews were able to save each structure. The East residence only sustained minimal damage to the West side of the structure. A small shed in the back-yard of the East structure was destroyed. The first building involved, the garage, was a complete loss as well.
AMS assessed some of the occupants and no injuries were reported.
Early estimates of property damage were figured at 30,000 dollars and the fire investigator's ruled the fire cause as "undetermined."
AMARILLO 2/22/14 -- It started on Saturday just before 6 p.m. on the 2400 block of Bryan Street.
Officials tell us while the fire was in the garage.
It then spread to a connecting home, and to two other neighboring houses.
Injuries are not known at this point, and the garage was a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
