(NBC News) The U.S. Supreme Court gave the Obama Administration a big victory Tuesday in its efforts to reduce air pollution.
In a 6-to-2 decision the court upheld an Environmental Protection Agency rule requiring states to reduce the air pollution they allow to drift into other states.
The decision ends a decades long effort by the EPA to find a legal way to make sure states are good neighbors, and environmental activists say this will mean cleaner air for everyone.
