We're just four weeks into the tax season and the IRS says more than 48 million refunds have been issued. The average amount of the refund is just more than $3,000 dollars. They say that's an increase of about 3% on last year's average.

Hawaii's state legislature approved a bill that would raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour over the next few years. Maryland lawmakers are also considering a proposal to increase the state's minimum wage to $10.10. Negotiations are underway in Minnesota, Chicago and Seattle.

Facebook is cracking down on guns. A new policy plans to block minors from seeing gun sale postings. The social media site will also pull posts of sales that don't require a background check.
