(NBC News) With no deal to fix the border crisis or keep highway projects going, and lawmakers headed home by Friday, House Republicans focused on suing President Obama Wednesday.
They charge he exceeded his authority when he changed Obamacare rules by executive order.
Mr. Obama responded by warning Republicans he'll issue more executive orders if they can't pass bills.
"The only reason I'm doing it on my own is you don't do anything," the president said.
Democrats charge the GOP lawsuit is an election year stunt.
