The President hosts over 50 of the continents key leaders, and promises to expand trade.
(NBC News) President Obama announced $33 billion dollars to expand trade, promote African companies, and build infrastructure at the African leaders summit in Washington, D.C. Monday.
Most of the commitment is private money from major U.S. companies like Coca-Cola and G.E.
Wednesday's meetings at the State Department will focus on investing, promoting peace and training young African leaders.
