AMARILLO -- The Downtown Revitalization Project is another step closer to completion.

The City Council is awarding a contract to move city utilities into the downtown area.

Those include sewage lines and electricity, and will replace old or non existent lines.

They are awarding a little more than $1-million and the repairs will help in the downtown revitalization project.
