It's not quite Cinco de May, but a parade wound through the streets of Amarillo, starting at Arthur Street and moving toward Tenth.
The parade was followed by a community celebration at Alamo Park.
There was a DJ, food, and rumors of a bouncy inflatable house.
Vaneza Avila from the Texas Latina Organization says, "it also brings us together as a community, instead of seperating between all the cultures there are."
The parade was part of Amarillo's National Tourism Week.
