Child Immigrant Protests

As some immigrant children face protests as they arrive at a processing facility in Oracle, Arizona, while Washington, D.C. says in a stalemate on the issue.

(NBC News) A stalemate continued Tuesday in Washington D.C. on the immigration crisis.

Most lawmakers agree that the faster Central American children can be sent home, the better the chance is that their parents will not send them back.  Few can agree, however, on how to accelerate the process while remaining fair to the children and their families.

Meanwhile, some residents in Oracle, Arizona protested Tuesday as buses of children tried to make their way to a local immigrant processing facility.

While some citizens would like to see the children sent home, others believe they should be allowed to stay considering the dangers they will face in their home countries.
