BUSHLAND -- Bushland ISD is thinking about raising taxes but not as much as initially thought.
They're proposing a 2.5-cent increase to cover a bond that was approved by voters back in May.
The bond was pitched to voters as a 3-cent increase, but district officials say they decided they could pay for what they needed with less money in taxes.
The board will vote on the increase next week.
