Bulls Win in OT; Force Game 4

The Amarillo Bulls rallied for a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Topeka Roadrunners 3-2 in overtime and keep their season alive.

Daniel Rzavsky scored for Topeka at the 6:16 mark of the 1st period to give the Roadrunners an early lead.  Topeka added on to that in the 2nd period at the 1:34 mark with a goal by Tyler Poulsen.

It was all Amarillo from that point on.  Kyle Gattelaro scored to pull the Bulls within one at the 9:07 mark in the 2nd period.  Ben Jentsch scored the only goal in the 3rd period to tie the game, and Tyler Gernhofer scored the winning goal at the 6:10 mark in overtime.

Amarillo had lost nine straight games to Topeka before Thursday's overtime victory.  The Roadrunners now lead the best of five series 2-1.  Game four will be in Topeka on Friday night with a 7 p.m. start.
