CANYON – Fresh off of its second consecutive NCAA Quarterfinal appearance, the West Texas A&M football team is slated to begin its 103rd season of college football when the Buffaloes begin fall camp on Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Buffalo Sports Park.

“It always is an exciting time of year when August rolls around,” head coach Mike Nesbitt said.  ”We are excited to get fall camp started, watch our guys go back to work and enjoy the process of getting better every day.”

The Buffs will start the 2014 season with a series of meetings on Aug. 12 and 13 prior to the first practice beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.  All WT practices are open to the media and public.  Media wishing to cover practice must notify the WT Athletic Media Relations Office prior to that day’s practice.
