Buff Baseball Game with Angelo State Postponed to Saturday

Due to heavy rain and severe thunderstorms in the Kingsville area, the West Texas A&M Lone Star Conference Baseball tournament game against Angelo State scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday evening has been postponed to Saturday at 12 p.m. at Nolan Ryan Field.

KINGSVILLE, Texas  – Due to heavy rain and severe thunderstorms in the Kingsville area, the West Texas A&M Lone Star Conference Baseball tournament game against Angelo State scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday evening has been postponed to Saturday at 12 p.m. at Nolan Ryan Field. 

The game is an elimination game with the winner advancing to play Tarleton State in the championship round following the conclusion of the game at noon.  If the Buffs win against Angelo State and defeat Tarleton State Saturday, the “if necessary” game is scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. for the conference championship and the automatic bid into the NCAA baseball playoffs.  If Tarleton State wins the championship game Saturday against WT or ASU, it will be crowned LSC Tournament Champion and earn the automatic bid.

Both games Saturday will be televised on Comcast Sports Net Houston and streamed live.  Fans can access live stats and streaming links by logging on to www.gobuffsgo.com
