Boy Creates “The EZ Baby Saver”

A 12-year-old inventor is getting a lot of attention for his newest creation that aims to prevent children from being locked in the car.
(WSMV)  12-year-old Andrew Schuler has been inventing things for years.

Last year he entered a rubber band youth inventors contest and came up with "The EZ Baby Saver." It's designed to save lives.  The simple rubber band and duct tape invention is meant to warn parents not to forget their children in the car.

Schuler won $500, bought a computer and made a website.

Schuler's website ended up going viral, generating thousands of hits and shares on Facebook and thousands of other hits on his website.

He posted directions on his website so others can make their own.
