Blacked Out: Yearbook Controversy

Parents and students complain after Arizona high school censors senior yearbook quotes.
(KVOA)  An Arizona high school yearbook is making headlines after school officials used thick black tape to censor senior quotes.

Leaders at Sabino High School in Tucson flagged 13 quotes as "innappropriate" after the yearbook was printed.

"It's thick black tape and you notice it when you open the book so it's not like it was discreet," says Elizabeth Oien, whose senior quote remains intact.

But more than a dozen others are blacked out, including the yearbook's student editor.
