Back in Class

A Colorado girl, initially suspended for shaving her head has been allowed to return to school. The third grader shaved her head in support of her friend who has cancer.
(KKCO) The Caprock Academy Board of Directors, in Grand Junction, Colorado voted 3-1 to allow a little girl who shaved her head to return to school. 

The story gained national attention after her bold move got her kicked out of class.

The school's dress code policy states that students are not allowed to have a shaved head. 

In an executive session on Tuesday night, the board voted to allow and exception for what they call "an extraordinary cause worthy of our highest regard."
