August 1, Saturday Morning Forecast

August 1, Saturday Morning Forecast

Good Saturday morning everyone.
Good Saturday morning everyone.  Rain chances will continue for today and tomorrow, as a weak cold front becomes stationary, and northwest flow thunderstorms move this way from the New Mexico and Colorado Rockies.  Sudden downburst winds, lightning, and heavy rain will be the main culprits.  Flooding concerns are still a big issue.  Temperature wise, the 80s will be common afternoon numbers through the weekend.  By Monday, however, and for our first full week of August, the low to mid 90s will return with just a slight chance for thunderstorms each evening.

Have a great weekend everyone, and remember to seek shelter if a thunderstorm is close to your location.
