September 18, Thursday Evening Forecast

Good Thursday evening everyone.
Good Thursday afternoon. Rain chances will ramp up as the remnants of Hurricane Odile approach from the southwest.  Scattered bands of rain will be prevalent in our south and far western counties today, while all of the area will be subject to tropical downpours tomorrow night and Saturday.  As the remnant circulation passes overhead, heavy amounts of rain could be witnessed with flooding becoming a concern overtime.  By Sunday, most of the tropical moisture will be to our southeast, being replaced by sunshine and very humid warmth.  Speaking of warmth, temperatures today will continue in the upper 70s and low 80s, while tomorrow and Saturday will only see the 60s and 70s.  The 70s and low 80s will return for Sunday and Monday.  By the way, our next chance for rain will be on Tuesday (the first day of fall), with thunderstorms, and highs around 70.
