February 28, Saturday Morning Forecast

Good Saturday morning everyone.
Good Saturday morning everyone.  Very messy and unsettled weather will continue for the next several days.  Today will see another quick burst of snow in the predawn hours with possibly an additional 1 to 2 inches of snow.  As of this writing, our northern counties will have the best opportunity for the added accumulations.   The snow will taper to flurries later in the morning with a few peeks of sunshine.  The afternoon will continue mostly cloudy and cold with highs moderating into the low 30s.  Sunday (March 1), will be slightly warmer with a blend of upper 30s and 40s, while Monday will top out close to 50.  However, a light wintry mix of flurries, freezing drizzle, sleet, and drizzle will be possible for both days. Tuesday will be breezy and mild (50s), while Wednesday will be colder (30s), with a chance of snow.

Have a great weekend everyone.  Drive safely when you encounter wintry weather.
