An Egg-cellent Project for Families

Ukranian Egg Workshop - Sunday - 2 to 4 p.m. - Randall County Extension Office - 806-468-5543 - $25 / $35
Ukrainian Easter Eggs are famous for being colorful and ornate.  Ukrainians decorated eggs, believing great powers were embodied in the egg.  Eggs symbolized the release of the earth from shackles of winter and coming of spring with promise of new hope, new life and prosperity.

There is a Ukrainian Egg workshop at the Randall County Extension office, 200 N. Brown Road, Canyon this coming Sunday, April 6th from 2 - 4 p.m. Organizers have room for for more to attend, but they need to call by Thursday April 3rd at 5 p.m. to register.  Registration and supply fee - $25 for 1 adult / $35 for 1 adult & 1 child.  There is another class scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th from 6 to 8 p.m.; participants need to register by Tuesday, April 8th.  There's room for 13 more in that class.  Registration and supply fees are the same.  They can register by calling 806.468.5543 or emailing jrfarrell@ag.tamu.edu.
