Amigos hosted a health fair, all to promote healthy summer habits.
The health fair was over at the Amigos near I-40 and Grand, and was free for all.
Attendees could get their blood pressure, cholesterol levels and body mass indexes checked.
Cancer center representatives were on hand as well to do skin cancer screenings.
United Director of Health and Wellness Robin Hawkins says, "it takes about 10 minutes to get screened, and then if we find anything that's abnormal we just encourage them to go back to their physician and discuss it further."
Next health fair will take place in Plainview.
