Amarillo Police Recover Stolen Property, Seize Drugs

Upon searching the residence officers located a small amount of meth, a stolen 55 TV (stolen in burglary March 2013) and several pieces of identifying information. Officers also recovered an AR-15 assault rifle that had the serial number ground off.
AMARILLO -- A tip leads to the arrest and seizure of stolen property and drugs. 

After a knock and talk at the residence in the 1900 block of Beach, Amarillo police received a search warrant for the home. 

Upon searching the residence officers located a small amount of methamphetamines, a stolen 55 TV (stolen in burglary March 2013) and several pieces of identifying information. Officers also recovered an AR-15 assault rifle that had the serial number ground off. 

36-year-old Kristi Kaprece Jolly was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance less than 1 gram, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and one local municipal court warrant. 

Eugene Wiedl was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance over 1 gram less than 4 grams; Possession of a Prohibited Weapon; and Interference with Public Servant Duties. 

A third occupant of the house was released. 

Officers recovered approximately 2 dozen identifiers (including credit/debit cards, personal checks, and payroll checks), a color laser scanner/printer, several blank business type checks, numerous drug paraphernalia items (pipes, digital scales). 

Both Jolly and Wiedl were booked into the Potter County Correction Center. 

This incident remains under investigation and additional charges are possible.
