Amarillo Police Investigating Shooting

When officers arrived, the victim told officers that he had been standing on the porch at the home when a vehicle drove by northbound on Magnolia and someone fired a shot from it.
AMARILLO -- On Thursday around 10 p.m. Amarillo Police were called out to a home in the 2700 block of Magnolia on a reported shooting. 

When officers arrived, the victim told officers that he had been standing on the porch at the home when a vehicle drove by northbound on Magnolia and someone fired a shot from it. 

The victim was shot in his right arm, below the elbow.

The victim could provide no description of the suspect vehicle. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for the non-life threatening injury. Officers did not locate any evidence from the incident in the street. 

No one has been arrested.
