Amarillo Police Investigate Crash and Shots Fired

Police say the driver was shot twice in the chest and another person was hit by the truck.
AMARILLO -- What started as an argument led to two people in the hospital and another in custody.

Amarillo Police continue to investigate a crash and shooting near 35th and Virginia.

Police were called out around 3 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 3300 block of Lewis. 

Soon after, Police received a second call for shots fired at 35th and Virginia with a truck in a house.

Police say the driver was shot twice in the chest and another person was hit by the truck.

The driver and the person hit by the truck are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police report that a woman is in custody.

No names are being released at this time.

A weapon was recovered in the debris of the house.

No one was inside of the house when it was hit.

The investigation is ongoing.
