Amarillo Police Arrest Two After Search Warrant Issued

Two people were arrested and transported to jail and booked on several charges.

AMARILLO – Around 11 a.m. today, the APD Narcotics Unit and SWAT Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1800 block of S. Austin. 

During the search of the residence, officers seized 14 ½ grams of methamphetamine, various mixtures of pharmaceutical drugs, and drug paraphernalia.  Street value on the methamphetamine is approximately $1,300. 

Two people were arrested and transported to jail and booked on the charges shown:

Robert Kelly Hunt

  • Manufacture/Delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, over 4 grams but less than 200 grams

  • Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 3, over 28 grams but less than 200 grams

  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

  • Felony Parole Warrant

Christina Bonds 

  • Several Local traffic Warrants

  • Hartley Co Warrant-Theft of Property

Hunt is booked into the Potter County Detention Center. Bonds is booked into the Randall County Jail.
