AMARILLO -- The Amarillo Recreation Complex is one step closer to heading to the ballot in November.
The plans were discussed today by the Amarillo City Commission.
The $38-million sports complex includes baseball and softball fields, soccer fields and an aquatic center. It'll be paid for by private donations and by a nearly $31-million bond.
The final vote to put that on the ballot in November will take place next week.
