100-Year-Old Keeps Promise To Dance On Table At Her Birthday Party

When Delia Walker Turned 95, She Said If I Ever Make It To A 100-Years-Old, I Will Be Dancing On A Table At My Party. She Kept The Promise.
When Delia Walker turned 95 years old, she said if she makes it to one hundred, she will be dancing on a table at her party.

Family members reminded her of that promise and built a wooden table for her to dance on. Walker, a woman of her word, kept the promise.

With all bets on the table, she climbed out of her walker, and glided across the dance floor.

"The 'old boogy-walking-base-beat' is what really lights her up," says Delia's grandson, Jim Walker.

Jim takes Delia to Brownwood every Thursday to participate in the Senior Citizen Dance Night. She says Thursday mornings are spent at the beauty palor, and nights, spent on the dance floor.
