19 year old Nicholas Hadden and 24 year old Christopher Curtis Garrett have been charged with Forgery of a Government Document.
On August 21, Amarillo Police Officers were sent to the the Sonic on S. Western after employees say a fake $10 bill was used to make a purchase.
The suspects left the scene before police arrived.
Just over a week later, officers were called to the United on SW 45th for a customer using counterfeit bills.
Later that day, the suspect came back to the store to return some merchandise, and police arrested him.
Further investigation led police to the second suspect.
Both Hadden and Garrett were booked into Randall County Jail.
They have since both bonded out, but Hadden still has an active warrant through Potter County for Forgery of a Government Document.
