Clovis Man Sentenced to 10 years in Prison for Drug Trafficking

Adolph Padilla, 51, was convicted of three counts of Trafficking Controlled Substances and sentenced to serve the next 10 years in prison.
CLOVIS -- Adolph Padilla,  51, was convicted of three counts of Trafficking Controlled Substances and sentenced to serve the next 10 years in prison.  

In July of 2012, an undercover police informant reported that Padilla was selling narcotics out of a motel room. After Police executed a search warrant, they found illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia which is used for packaging and selling drugs. Padilla was arrested and later bonded out of jail.  

In December of 2012, Padilla sold methamphetamine on two separate occasions to undercover police officers.  Arrest warrants were served in March of 2013.
 
After undergoing a diagnostic evaluation at the Department of Corrections, Padilla was sentenced to 10 years in prison.  After serving his prison term, Jimenez will be placed on intensive supervised probation for a period of 5 years.
