Clovis Man Facing 70 Years in Prison For Multiple Charges

A jury found 24-year-old Paul Villanueva guilty of Kidnapping, Aggravated Burglary, Sexual Assault and Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer.
CLOVIS -- A Clovis man is facing up to 70-years behind bars after being found guilty Friday.

A jury found 24-year-old Paul Villanueva guilty of Kidnapping, Aggravated Burglary, Sexual Assault and Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer.

In May of 2012, Villanueva broke into his girlfriends house and assaulted her at gunpoint before escaping into the back yard.

After pointing his gun at officers several times he was shot by an officer.
