The West Texas A&M football team has a host of new coaches as it enters the 2013 season.
The West Texas A&M football team has a bevy of new coaches entering the 2013 season.  Former defensive coordinator Colby Carthel took the head coaching job at Texas A&M-Commerce in the off-season and took four assistant coaches with him.

Head Coach Don Carthel promoted secondary coach Nick Paremski to the defensive coordinator spot.

Several of the new coaches are making a return to West Texas A&M.  Mike Nesbitt returns to WT after stints with Stephen F. Austin and Houston.  Nesbitt was the offensive coordinator for WT in 2010 and spent four years on the Buff coaching staff.  He returns as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach.

Brett Watson also returns to Canyon for the 2013 season.  Watson is a Perryton, Texas native who played defensive line for the Buffs from 2006-2007.  He will coach the defensive line this season.
