Budget Heads to Senate

New bipartisan budget deal passed by House faces firm Republican opposition in the Senate.
(NBC News)  A group of "typically" moderate Senators are now saying they'll vote against the House-passed budget compromise.

Getting the compromise through the House was a big win for Speaker John Boehner, but some conservatives and Tea party Republicans are still upset that more spending cuts weren't included.

Democrats, meanwhile, are unhappy that an extension of long-term unemployment benefits was left out as well.
