AMARILLO -- Balloons filled the air at Medi-Park Saturday afternoon, orange balloons to be exact, to show support for one brave Amarillo girl fighting leukemia.

12 year old Carla Contreras was flown to a hospital in Dallas after her condition worsened on Christmas Eve.

Her family and friends invited all of the community out to Medi-Park for a prayer vigil, to show Carla she's not alone in her battle.

The balloons released on Saturday were orange, to show support for Carla and everyone else that's fighting leukemia.
