AMARILLO -- On Tuesday, APD COPPS officers were working on locating David Scholz, 32, out of Randall County for possession of controlled substance. Officers developed information on the whereabouts of Scholz and found him along with 27-year-old Aaron Albright in the parking lot of a apartment complex
Aaron Albright has 4 outstanding municipal warrants.
A police K-9 was called in to check the vehicle for any contraband and officers later discovered a black bag containing narcotics.
A search warrant was then issued for the apartment the subjects had just come from. Officers located 20 grams of methamphetamines and 1 ounce of marijuana in the car; and 60 grams of methamphetamines and 5 grams of cocaine from the apartment. Also located inside the apartment were several stolen electronic devices, and semi auto pistol that is believed to be stolen.
Both subjects were transported and booked into Randall County Jail. Scholz was booked for Manufactor and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana in a drug free zone, and for the outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Albright was booked on the outstanding municipal warrants.
