AMARILLO -- The city is getting nearly $9-million in water system upgrades.
The city council today approved the issuance of bonds to help repay a loan from the Texas Water Development Board.
The money is planned to be used to update the plant on Osage and finish some work at the Georgia street plant.
The loan amount includes more than $400,000 in loan forgiveness by the TWDB.
