Suspects are in police custody, in connection with a murder that happened August 12 in West Amarillo.
Investigators say 29 year old Lance Hooser died of a gunshot wound to the upper body.
His body was allegedly dumped out of a maroon Chevy Equinox near 2nd and Bryan Street.
Lt. Erick Bohannon says, "we have five individuals in custody on this case. We had two that are charged with murder and we have three that are charged with aggravated kidnapping. They're all booked into jail. "
25 year old Ricky Don Burns and 52 year old Terry Daniel Young were arrested for the murder of Lance Hooser.
Special Crimes has not released their mug shots yet.
32 year old Robert Wyatt Melton, 41 year old Jeffrey Sean Noblett, and 47 year old Bobby Guy Crawford, Jr. are charged with aggravated kidnapping.
Bohannon says tips and information from witnesses led them to all five suspects.
He says, "people started coming forward giving us some good information. It took several days, but that information led us on Friday, August 16th, probably around 6:30 to arrest Ricky Don Burns."
Bohannon says the case is far from over, but he says he thinks all suspects directly involved with Hooser's murder are behind bars in Potter County Jail.
"When we've got the right people in and the right witnesses to this, then we begin to be more focused on where we needed to go. So yes, those tips that we got were a very big help. That's what led to the ultimate conclusion of this case and the arrests."
Bohannon says another tip led them to a house on Simpson Street, where the Equinox they had been looking for was sitting in the driveway.
In regards to a connection between the suspects, Bohannon says they're coworkers.
Hooser's run ins with the law stretch back to 2001.
Bohannon says they have a pretty good idea for the reason for the crime, but aren't releasing any information just yet.
