Jury selection begins today in the case of a 12-year-old boy accused of killing his father in 2009.
Benjamin Hilburn of Albuquerque, N.M, was charged with the murder when he was 10-years-old.
Police say Hilburn told them he shot his father because he was too strict.
It's unclear whether Hilburn's younger sister, who witnessed the shooting, will have to testify.
Hilburn will be tried in children's court and a jury will decide whether the killing was premeditated.
