Coming off of a series sweep of Tarleton State, the West Texas A&M baseball team puts its five game winning streak on the line as it returns to the road this weekend in a Lone Star Conference series at Cameron University.
Qualifying individuals will be making an appearance in the prestigious 88th edition of the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays which will be held at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Additional Buffs and Lady Buffs will also be running at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
The #2 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M will battle for first place in the Lone Star Conference this weekend as they travel to Lawton, Oklahoma for a four-game LSC series against the #25 Aggies of Cameron starting on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at McMahon Field with the final two games taking place on Saturday afternoon with first pitch of a doubleheader set for 12 p.m.
The two losses along with a Valdosta State 19 game winning streak dropped the Lady Buffs from the top spot for the first time in a record 56 straight weeks dating back to February 26, 2014.

The Lady Buffs topped the overall field of eight teams and had five individuals qualify for nationals in six events as well.
