James Nonimated for Tino Martinez Award



CANYON -- West Texas A&M pitcher Dylan James was nominated for the Tino Martinez Award, given to the most outstanding player in Division II baseball.

James was 5-2 this season with a 1.83 ERA.  He struck out 95 batters and gave up just 47 hits.

He is one of four players from the Lone Star Conference to be nominated for the award.  Finalists for the award are announced on Monday May 20th.
