Eight Buffs Named BSN 1st Team All-Americans

Beyond Sports Networked named eight West Texas A&M football players to its 1st team All-American list.

Quarterback Dustin Vaughan was named the Division II Offensive Player of the Year.  Vaughan was joined on the 1st team All-American list by wide receiver Torrence Allen, guard Craig Watts, line backer Taylor McCuller, safety Curtis Slater, kick returner Nathan Slaughter, kicker Sergio Castillo, and punter Kevin Van Voris.

Defensive lineman Ethan Westbrooks was named a BSN 2nd team All-American.

The Buffs finished the season 11-3 including a birth in the NCAA Division II regional quarterfinal game.
