The Bushland Falcons are use to seeing the Wall Hawks in the playoffs.

The two schools met in the UIL football playoffs, then again in the basketball playoffs, and Friday they'll meet in the baseball playoffs.

The baseball series will serve as the "rubber match" for the two schools.  Wall beat Bushland in the football playoffs ending the season for the Falcons, but Bushland returned the favor in the basketball playoffs on its way to a state tournament appearance.

That same state tournament appearance made some of the Falcon players miss a good portion of the baseball season which my explain Bushland's late season surge.  "Some of our guys kinda got a late start that played in the state basketball tournament.  And I think right now they're finally starting to hit their stride," said Falcons head coach Jeff Smith.

Bushland and Wall will play a three-game series at Lubbock Cooper.

Game 1: Friday at 7 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday at 12 p.m.
Game 3: 30 minutes after game 2*

*Game 3 if necessary
