Bulls Fall 6-2 to End Season

The Amarillo Bulls fell 6-2 to the Topeka Roadrunners in Monday's game 5.

The Bulls scored first with 7:32 to go in the 1st period but failed to score again until the game was well out of hand.  Topeka scored five unanswered goals to take a 5-1 lead before Brendan Vetter scored with 3:53 remaining in the game.

The loss ends the season for Amarillo and ends a streak of three straight trips to the Robertson Cup.

The loss also marks the end of the Dennis Williams era in Amarillo.  Williams is leaving the franchise to start a new franchise in Bloomington, Illinois which will play in the USHL.
