The event will be held at the West Texas A&M Track & Field Complex which surrounds the soccer field at Buffalo Sports Park in Canyon.
“This weekend will be a great opportunity for our kids to tune up before the LSC meet and hopefully better their NCAA marks,” noted head coach Darren Flowers. “We are looking forward to a strong field of competitors and another great meet here at home.”
The women will be competing against 12 other teams this weekend including Barton County Community College, Clarendon College, Eastern New Mexico, Midwestern State, New Mexico Highlands, New Mexico Junior College, Odessa College, Texas-Permian Basin, Texas Tech, Texas Wesleyan, Wayland Baptist, and Western Texas College.
The men’s field will also welcome BCCC, Clarendon, ENMU, Odessa, UTPB, TTU, TWU, Wayland and WTC.

Saturday’s field events will begin at 11 a.m. with the javelin, shot pump, high jump and long jump while the final event will be held at 4 p.m. with the hammer throw.
Track events on Saturday will start at Noon on a rolling schedule beginning with the 4x100m relays and concluding with the 3000m run.
