CANYON – Coming off of a run to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship last spring, West Texas A&M head softball coach Kevin Blaskowski has announced the dates for the program’s annual Fall Elite Camp. The camp will take place on September 27-28 at Schaeffer Park in Canyon.
Join the Lady Buffs and coaching staff for a two day Elite Camp planned to improve all aspects of your game. This very intense and challenging camp is limited to 48 girls who will be broken into 4 teams. Specific team and individual drills and skills will be taught, as well as scrimmages coached by current Lady Buffs.
Softball players will be able enjoy the opportunity to compete with and against others who aspire to play at the collegiate level and be evaluated by the coaching staff. Campers will also have the opportunity to watch the Lady Buffs in action during a team workout and a scheduled team scrimmage at the conclusion of camp.
Registration for this camp is limited by position so reserve your spot today. Camp is open to all players but limited to graduation dates of 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Players will need to bring all necessary equipment including: softball pants, cleats, catchers gear, gloves, batting gloves, bats, helmets and a water bottle. For more information please contact Camp Director/Assistant Coach Candace Abrams at email@example.com or by phone at 806-651-4426. Campers can find the registration form at the top of this release or under “additional links” on the WT Softball homepage.
