100% Contained: Wildfire North of Pampa

UPDATE 5:43 P.M. :

The Robert county's Sheriff's Office is reporting to KAMR Local 4 that the wind will change directions in about half an hour and be coming from the north, possibly  putting a house in the area in danger. 

Crews on scene are currently making sure the fire is completely out so that it doesn't flare back up again.

UPDATE: 4:40 P.M.:

The wildfire north of Pampa has reignited. Crews are back working the fire once again.

UPDATE: 3:58 P.M.:

Officially with the Gray County Emergency Management say that the fire is 100% contained.

A well house was a total loss and no injuries were reported.

Officials say it was a large fire but do not know an acreage yet.

Crews are on scene and clean up is about to start.

UPDATE 3:17 P.M. :

 

ORIGINAL:

A wildfire is being reported north of Pampa near Keller Estates.

No structures are reported damaged. 

The fire is reportedly moving north.

Highways 171 and 282 have been closed.

Firefighters are working to protect neighboring residential areas to the North of town.

Seven fire agencies (Pampa, Hoover, Lefors, White Deer, Miami, Carson and Roberts County) have been called to the scene.
