AUSTIN -- A white powdery substance is sent to State Senator Kel Seliger's office.

DPS in Austin says they got the call this morning.

After testing, they determined the substance wasn't harmful.

It was found in the east wing of the Capitol Building in Austin.

While there were no evacuations, that part of the basement was blocked off.

Investigators did not say who was responsible, but say the letter came from a Texas prison.

They also would not comment on a possible motive.

Seliger sits on many committees for education. He's also a former, Amarillo mayor.
