Visiting Forensic Artist Presents Workshops

AMARILLO -- Stephen Mancusi, a noted forensic artist and former NYC detective, is presenting workshops in Police Composite Sketching for students at the Amarillo College Washington Street Campus.

He also will give a public presentation on May 1.

Mancusi has been featured in articles in the New York Times, London Sunday Telegraph, Evidence Technology Magazine, AM New York and The NY Daily News.

He has appeared on ABC's 20/20, New York Views, NBC's Unsolved Mysteries, Court TV's Justice Factory, Discovery Channel, Pro 7 German Television Network, Seven Network Australia Sunday Night, Good Morning America, NPR, National Geographic Television and History Channel's MysteryQuest.

The sessions at Amarillo College will be in Russell Hall, Room 122.

The schedule:
  • Monday and Wednesday: 9 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Monday and Wednesday: 1:30 -4 p.m.
  • Thursday: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and noon - 2:30 p.m.
The workshops are free, but space is limited.

Mr. Mancusis public presentation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1.
