Baltimore, Maryland -
(WBAL) Around 11:45 am Tuesday, a young man in his 20's or early 30's started banging on the secure front entrance to WMAR TV 2, an ABC affiliate near Baltimore.
Witnesses say the lone female security guard denied him access.
The man left, walked purposefully to a landscaping truck parked in the station driveway, and then used the vehicle to ram the building.
According to witnesses, the suspect backed up, struck the structure several times before aiming for the dead center of the entrance, then plowed into a lobby area.
No one was reported injured.
After the truck came to a stop, witnesses say the suspect then ran up a flight of stairs carrying a fire extinguisher.
Fifty-five employees escaped the building through a back door.
"I just walked up to my morning anchor and i said i feel like I'm dreaming. Absolutely, I feel like I'm dreaming," said Cheryll Connor, a WMAR TV 2 reporter.
