Atlanta, Georgia -
(WXIA) A F-350 truck pulling a trailer full of furniture was struck by a CSX train as it crossed railroad tracks in downtown Acworth, Georgia Wednesday.
There were no injuries, according to Captain Mark Cheatham, however, the accident closed area streets for much of the morning.
Furniture was was scattered all over the area.
The trailer itself was carried approximately a quarter of a mile down the track by the train.
The train and the track sustained significant damage.
The driver of the truck was cited for failure to obey railroad grade crossing.
