UPDATE 7/3/14 -- The Traffic Investigations Squad has released the name of the woman injured in this event, 19-year-old Florinda Marez.
She jumped out of the moving vehicle during a dispute with the driver.
She remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
AMARILLO 7/2/14 – Early this morning, Amarillo Police responded to a call at Lindberg and Wilson on a report that someone had jumped out of a moving car.
Officers found that a 19-year-old female had jumped from a car. She is at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The name of the injured female is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept. is investigating the incident.
